VILLAGE OF LAKEVIEW

COUNCIL MEETING

APRIL 24, 2006

Pres. Winter called meeting to order at 5:30pm.

Members present – Kathy Lobert, Dave Lund, Esther Collard, Ruth Schottle.

Members absent – Janet Earhart, Craig Farrell.

Also present – Wally Delamater, Ruth Corwin.

AGENDA APPROVAL – Lobert moved to approve agenda as presented.  Lund seconded, motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS

South Parking Lot Bid – Lund moved that Village Council accept the South Parking Lot Construction Bid of $54,003.80 from Griffelle Development, that the Village President and/or Manager have signatory authority to execute the contract between Lakeview and Griffelle Development.  Schottle seconded.  Discussed if blacktop was going to be smooth or rough.  After discussion, motion carried.

MANAGER INFORMATION & COMMENTS – Manager stated that a resident was interested in having signage put up on Niles Street designating “Blind Person Area”.  Matter will be looked into.

Pres. Winter adjourned meeting at 5:36pm.
