VILLAGE OF LAKEVIEW

COUNCIL MEETING

OCTOBER 9, 2006

Pres. Winter called meeting to order at 7:30pm.

Members present – Jan Earhart, Craig Farrell, Kathy Lobert, Dave Lund, Esther Collard,

Ruth Schottle.

Members absent – None.

Also present – Darin Dood, Wally Delamater, Ruth Corwin.

AGENDA APPROVAL – Add Halloween Hours to New Business.  Lund moved to approve agenda as amended.  Lobert seconded, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS – None.

STANDING ITEMS

Minutes – Schottle moved to approve 9-11-06 minutes as presented.  Collard seconded, motion carried.

Bills – Lobert moved to approve bills in amount of $104,817.76 as presented.  Farrell seconded.  Discussed the purchase of Fatal Vision Goggles.  After discussion, motion carried.

MONTHLY REPORTS

Police – Written report.  Chief Dood discussed the matter of no parking on Paden Road.

DPW  - Written report.

Lund stated that the Clean-up Day was much more organized this year.

OLD BUSINESS – None.

NEW BUSINESS

Halloween Hours – Halloween hours will be from 6pm to 8pm on Oct. 31, 2006.

MANAGER INFORMATION & COMMENTS – Written report.

Pres. Winter congratulated Chief Dood for the awarding of another grant, in the amount of $5,000, from the Office of Highway Safety and Planning.

COMMITTEE REPORTS – None.

Pres. Winter adjourned meeting at 8pm.
